Romare Bearden Practice - Paper Collage

This piece is a collage inspired by the black American artist and writer, Romare Bearden. His split face technique resembles the art movement, Cubism, visually and figuratively as it presents this shattered reality of human rights, but also a shared experience between humanity and different groups of people. This piece was done with cut out images from magazines, books, etc.
